A List of the Best Sailing Youtube Channels

Sailing Youtube Channels

If you’re anything like me and you use youtube as a guilty pleasure, to keep your day dream alive, then most of these channels will be well known to you…

So here is a list of my favourite Sailing Youtube channels. There may be a few that are new to you and all of them provide excellent tips and motivation for your travels.

Knowledge is power and I find that the best way to learn is from experience, but when you don’t have the chance right now to get out sailing, then prepare yourself by learning from others.

You’re sure to find what you’re looking for, for every stage of your sailing journey!

This list will be updated in the future, so keep this as a reference and send any suggestions to info@sailingtt.com.

So in no particular order…

Enjoy!

Sailing into Freedom

Saving one of the best sailing Youtube channels until last, Plukky really impressed me with his calm handling of what could have ben a disaster. When struck by lightning in a tropical thunderstorm, he battled to keep his boat afloat, while being circled by sharks, shallow reefs, being becalmed and eventually running out of food… Great display of keeping a cool head in seemingly impossible odds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hddk_bAzhy0&list=PLEKAH-HSRXT10zKVmDeQl4dF1vbB_WaYh
